In my previous post we discuss about How To Make A Password Protected File/Folder. Now in this post I'll be showing you How to hide files and folders by giving it maximum security so no one can easily see it or impossible to access.
Most of the users have some private, personal and secret stuffs, that they wanna hide. But purchasing any software to do so is like killing ourselves. So now here, I'm about to guide you "How To How To Hide Your Secret Files Without The Use Of Any Software".

There are many ways to do so each way have a different level of secrecy. So I'm going to tell you some of the ways. By just following these simple steps you are now going to hide your personal stuffs (GOOD ☻).

Method #1

This is the basic and the simplest way to hide your file. To do So follow these simplest steps:-

Select the file and Right-Click on it and select "Properties" Menu as done below:

It's properties menu will open, then Check "Hidden" Menu, Apply the changes and then click OK
The File will be hidden Suddenly, To view Hidden File Click on the "Tools>Folder Option" Menu on the Toolbar, a dialogue box will appear , Select "View Tab" and select "Show hidden files and folder" Apply the changes and Click OK, Your file will be hidden ☺

This Was the simplest method, now if you want to give this a little called encryption you should have to add a simple Step to Method 1 as done below:

Method #2

To commit this you have to do something first click on "TOOLS>FOLDER OPTION" menu on the toolbar, then click on the VIEW tab and Uncheck the "HIDE EXTENSION FOR KNOWN FILE TYPES" as done below:

Select The File you want to hide, Right click on it and select rename option or simply press F2 Button to rename it.
Remove the current Extension(NAME OF THE FILE AFTER ".") and give any extension of your choice You can also change the hole name of the file to make it look like a little genuine, as done below:

Now follow the METHOD #1 to Hide it.

So this method gives some more security by encrypting your file you could re access it by giving the original extension to the file.
