How to Perform Lollipop Upgrade In Kitkat Mobiles(Using Cyanogenmod)

Android had released its latest version(5.0.5), Lollipop in the market, but mobile having the latest android platform is rare to find.So in this post we are going to let you know how you can perform a lollipop upgrade using custom ROM i.e. using cyanogenmod.

So (UNOFFICIALLY) we could upgrade (SOME FEATURES of ) Android Kitkat to Android Lollipop, mostly GUI. "Cyannogenmod" is a type of CWM mod which could upgrade our mobile phone into Lollipop.

How to install Cyannogenmod 12 

• First you need to check if your device is supported by cyannogenmod. The list of supported devices till now could be seen from Here, and using these criterion:

• Then you have to root your device.

Once you have rooted, then follow the following steps.:-

1. First make NAndroid Backup.
2. Then Download the ROM from Here.
3. Boot into Recovery and wipe all data.
4. Flash the ROM 
5. And reboot you phone.

Voila you have upgraded your phone into Android Kitkat Into Lollipop.
